Taryn Bonner

C4CC Community Resource Coordinator

Taryn Bonner is a mental health advocate and hopes to give a voice to young people through community building and ongoing education. She is graduate of Guilford College with a B.A. in Music Performance. For C4CC, Taryn supports community outreach events, leads youth workshops, and supports the growth of the organization. In addition to serving as C4CC’s Community Resource Coordinator, she works as a Natural Hair Care Specialist in Chapel Hill.

Taryn is an active member of Community Church of Chapel Hill Unitarian Universalist where she sings in the choir, performs in plays, and fundraises for the Orange County Rape Crisis Center. She directs the C3HUU Children’s Choir and is a trained “Our Whole Lives” sexuality education facilitator. She is dedicated to bringing music to people of all ages and promoting wellbeing through education and care, and plans to continue growing her knowledge in early childhood education.
