Our Mission

Founded in Fall 2023, Center for Community Connection (C4CC) promotes well-being, mental health equity, and occupational justice in North Carolina. We are piloting our model among youth (ages 12 to 26) in Chatham County.

We provide therapeutic workshops, holistic mental health care, community education, and advocacy that enhances youths’ participation in meaningful activities, cultivates social connection, and promotes inclusive, just environments.

At C4CC, youth take a collaborative lead on decisions about their mental well-being, and have access to creative tools to examine and reauthor their life stories.

Vision

Our vision is a community where holistic mental health care is accessible to and connects people in need with the supports they need to thrive - whether social, nutritional, familial, occupational, and/or systemic.

Through collaborative, ecological approaches, C4CC exists to support healing from trauma and mental distress, prevent mental health crises, address structural causes of oppression, and facilitate mental health and wellbeing.
