Kara Woolridge
Occupational Therapist
Kara Woolridge OTD, OTR/L is a mental health occupational therapist with a passion for community mental health and occupational justice. She has dedicated her educational and professional career to becoming an expert in mental health services with a particular focus on marginalized communities.
Community service is a guiding value that drives Kara's desire to integrate community members with holistic person-focused services to support connectedness, purpose, and engagement for improved wellness outcomes. Kara comes from a family and community that is service-oriented and strives for the equitable access for all persons to live self-identified meaningful lives.
Kara is a mother to a high school son and his loyal dog. The three of them spend weekends attending church, exploring North Carolina, and tending to their personal wellness needs. She loves to sing, spend time in the sun, lift weights, travel, listen to audiobooks, and spend time with friends and family. She is delighted to join C4CC as a provider to build connections with community members supporting their self-determination for meaningful engagement.
